Fifth Sunday Of Lent

Today, the Parish Youth are invited for the Lenten Youth Mission, led by Fr. Omar Fernandes, from 7.00 pm onwards with a Mass, Talk, Confessions and Adoration.

 

Lenten Confessions will be held in our Church from Monday, 07^th to Wednesday, 09^th April from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm. Do not wait till the last day or come when it is time to close.

 

Parish Hope and Life Association is organising a Recollection-cum-Passover Meal for the widows on Thursday, 10^th April at 11.00 a.m. For Coupons, contact the Members.

 

Our Church will host the Archdiocesan Chrism Mass (Mass of the Blessings of the Holy Oil) on Thursday, 10^th April at 6.30 pm. Please do attend. Kindly note that there will be no Way of the Cross for Children this Thursday.

 

Way of the Cross will be as usual on Wednesday and Friday. The Friday Zonal Way of the Cross at 8.30 pm will be led by St. John.

 

PPC Meeting will be on Friday, 11^th April at 7.30 pm in Seva Kendra Hall.

 

A Special Christian Meditation Prayer Service, with the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, will be held on Saturday, 12^th April at 7.45 pm. Please participate.

 

On Palm Sunday, the Palms will be blest on Saturday, 12^th April at the 7.00 pm Mass in the Church and on Sunday, 13^th April at 9.15 am on the Church Grounds followed by Mass.

 

Next Sunday, Passo Service will be conducted with a Konkani Mass at 5.30 pm, Konkani Passo Preaching at 6.15 pm, Enactment and Singing of the Veronica Song at 6.30 pm and English Passo Preaching at 6.45 pm, followed by English Mass at 7.00 pm.

 

Parish Legion of Mary is organizing the Annual Blood Donation Drive on Sunday, 13^th April from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm in the Parish Hall. Please participate.

 

To prepare ourselves for the Holy Triduum, there will be an Adoration-cum-Divine Mercy Chaplet recitation on Wednesday, 16^th April at 7.30 pm.
