Salvation Smart Parenting Programme (SSPP) today, 2nd September after 7.45 am Mass at Salvation Seva Kendra Hall for parents of our First Holy Communicants & Confirmands. Attendence of parents is compulsory.

 

The Novena in honour of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary is already underway. The Novena Mass will be celebrated at 7.00 pm on weekdays and at 7.45 am on Sunday.  Parishioners wishing to contribute towards the sweets on the Feast day may kindly contact Fr. Joel.

 

Kindly note due the children’s Novena, there will be no Konkani Mass on Wednesday 5th September 2018.

 

The Parish Youth Council of our Parish is organizing a Football Tournament for all parishioners below 25 years of age on 15th & 16th September 2018. For details kindly contact the youth representatives. Entry Forms are available in the Parish Office. The PYC will be organizing the North Bombay Deanery Level football tournament on 22nd & 23rd September. Last date for registration is 10th September 2018.

 

The Eucharist Ministers will do the collection during Saturday evening Mass as well as Sunday Morning & Evening Masses.

 

The Parish Youth Council will be having their monthly meeting on 7th September 2018 in the Seva Kendra Hall at 7.45 pm.

 

The Legion of Mary of St. Ignatius Church, Jacob Circle is organizing The Annual Walking Pilgrimage to Mount Mary Basilica, Bandra on Saturday 8th September 2018. It will begin at 10.30 pm from St. Ignatius Church and will end at the Mount for 5.30 am Mass on Sunday 9th September. All are welcome to participate in this prayerful exercise.

 

The Christian Meditation Group of the Parish invites you to a Day of Prayer, Meditation and Reflection on Saturday September 8th, 2018 conducted by Fr. Gavin Lopes from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm. For details refer to the Notice Board.

 

Hope & Life Association, invites all widows of our parish to attend Empowerment Retreat, in English at Atma Darshan, Andheri from 5th October 2018 – 6 pm to 7th October 2018 – 4 pm. This retreat aims to accompany those who have lost their spouses to journey from pain to power, despair to hope and loneliness to participation. For further details please see the notice board.

 

We have noticed that the Parishioners bring lots of broken statues, rosaries, holy pictures, calendars etc and dump in the church premises which is dishonouring. So it will be better to bury or burn them in your premises.
