Today we celebrate world Mission Sunday. In the context of the ongoing Synod of Bishops the theme chosen by the Holy Father is “Together with young people, let us bring the Gospel to all. He encourages us to reflect on this fact “I am a mission on this Earth, that is the reason why I am here in this world” Our mission is to make Christ known to the world will be possible if we open our hearts and let ourselves be infused with the love of Christ. The Collections at all masses will be sent to Archbishop House. Kindly donate generously; the boxes will be kept in the Church for the same. You can drop your contribution any time during the week.


Mission Sunday Rally will be held at St. Paul’s School grounds. Dadar (East) today from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Speaker: Bro. Trevor Lewis. The Eucharist will be celebrated by Bp. Dominic Savio. All are invited.


Sunday school as usual after the 7:45 am mass. Sunday school will close for holidays on 28th October 2018 and will reopen on 18th November 2018. Children’s mass will be as usual at 7:45 am.


3Ms An “Evening for Parents” Mass, Movie & Meal will be held on 4th November 2018 with Mass at 7:00 pm in the Church followed by a Get-together in the   Seva Kendra Hall. Passes are available in the Parish Office.


Thursday 1st November All Saints Day; Masses as usual.


2nd Nov. All Souls Day & First Friday

Masses will be as follows:

6:00 am, 6:45 am & 7:30 am masses in English. Please note the 7:30 am mass will be held in the Salvation School Undercroft. Evening 5:45 pm mass in Konkani & 7:00 pm mass in English.

There will be no Holy Hour.

 Blessing of the Graves:

The graves in the Church premises will be blessed after the 6:45 am mass.

The graves in the main cemetery will be blessed after the 7:30 am mass.


For 2nd Nov. All Souls Day we do not take particular Mass Intentions. The Eucharist is offered for all the departed members of your family. However if you would like to offer any personal intentions, do write the name of the departed person on a piece of paper and put these in  the boxes marked All Souls Day with any amount you wish. We will later compile a list of all these intentions and send it to mission Centers. The Book of Remembrance is kept in the Sacristy. Kindly enter the names of the departed members of your family into it.

The Inter-Religious Cell (Sanmarg) and The Bombay Catholic Sabha of the Church of Our Lady of Salvation, Dadar cordially invites  all our parishioners and brethren of other faith for an Inter Religious Diwali Celebration and Prayer Service on 3rd November 2018 at 8:00 pm in the Church Quadrangle.


As mentioned earlier, the Board of Management is pleased to introduce 2 new Funds, namely the Medical Fund and Education Fund strictly for the benefit of our Parishioners. For further details please contact the Admin Office.


The parish fathers will be visiting Community no. 3, St. Faustina of St Matthew Zone on Tuesday 23rd October 2018 from 5:30 pm onward.


We thank the parishioners who are regular with their Community Welfare Fund contribution, we urge the others to pay your contribution regularly. The fund is used for various purposes. Kindly collect your envelopes from the parish office.
