4. Parish Pastoral Council ( PPC ) meeting will be held on Wed., 12th April, at 7.15 in the Seva Kendra Hall.

5. Novenas in honour of the Divine Mercy begin on Good Friday, 14th April. The Chaplet will be recited soon after the Good Friday morning Service. Sat, 15th April, the Chaplet will be recited soon after the morning Service. Easter Sunday, the Novena will be recited at 3.00 pm in the Church. From Mon., 17th April, till Sat., 22nd April, the Chaplet will be recited daily after the 7.30 am morning Mass & 7.00 pm evening Mass. Sun., 23rd April, Feast Mass at 9.00 am in honour of Divine Mercy and a prayer service will be held at 3.00 pm in the Church.

6. The Parish Community of Sacred Heart Church, Worli, is organizing Live Station of the Cross tomorrow / today at 6.30 pm onwards. All are welcomed.

7. The Parish Inter- Zonal Tournament is been held on Sun., 23rd April, from 7.00 to 9.00 pm. For details please contact Fr. Vinay.

8. The Bombay Catholic Sabha is organizing an Inter-Parish Football Tournament “ Foot Com 2017 ” in June this year. All male football players from our parish are welcome. For registration, please contact The Bombay Catholic Sabha Library or any of members before 17th April 2017.

1. There will be a talk on Youth and the Eucharist tomorrow / today at 4.00 pm to 5.30 pm by Fr. Gerad Rodrigues SJ, in the Parish Hall. Requesting all the Youth of our parish to attend.

2. The Christian Meditation Group of our Parish is organizing a full day programme of Discourses, Prayer and Silent Meditation entitled “ The Spirituality of Imperfection ” on Tuesday, 28th March in the Parish Hall. The resource person is Bro Milton Lawrence from the community of the Christian Brothers. For details, please see the notice board.

3. A talk on Part / Full time job opportunities   at  the Life Insurance Corporation of India will  be given by a Development officer of the LIC, on Tuesday, 28 March, at 10.00 am in conference Room No 3. All are invited but entry only   for those who register their names  in the Church office before 26th Mar 2017. or at the Stall, This is organized by the Sr. Citizens Group of our Parish.

19th March 2017: 03rd SUNDAY OF THE LENT


1. St. Joseph Choral Society will be celebrating the Feast of their Patron Saint, St. Joseph, on Mon., 20th March at the 7.00 pm Mass.

2. The booking of Masses for April, May & June 2017, will commence on Monday, 20th March, at the usual office hours. Kindly bring exact change.

3. All Mumbai Walking Pilgrimage on Sat., 25th March, staring from Cross Maidan, Dhobi Talao at 10.30 pm to Mount Mary’s Basilica, Bandra, with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Bp. Bosco Penha will celebrate the Holy Eucharist. Please note that due to security reasons people are requested not to bring two wheelers and also to walk in the procession behind the float of our Lady.

26th February 2017: 8th SUNDAY OF THE YEAR


1. Tomorrow / today is celebrated as Bible Sunday in the Archdiocese. There will be a blessing of bibles at each Mass, parishioners are requested to carry their personal copies of the Bible for the blessing.

2. Today, being Bible Sunday, Sisters of St. Paul have put up a stall for the sale of Bibles and related materials. Parishioners are requested to visit the stall.

3. A leaflet for the Enthronement of the Bible at home is available in the Dispensers, please pick a copy for your family.

4. The English Prayer Group is conducting a Life in the Spirit Seminar comprising of Life Transforming Spirit filled teachings and Eucharistic Adoration with prayer for healing. This will be held from 28th Feb., to 21st March, at 7.30 pm every Tuesday in our Church.

19th February 2017: 7th SUNDAY OF THE YEAR


1. Sunday School as usual tomorrow/today after the 7.45am Mass.

2. Parish Liturgy Team meeting will be held on Wed., 22nd Feb., at 7.00 pm in Conf. Room No. 3. Members are requested to collect the Agenda from the Sacristy.

3. There will be a training session for the Heads & Asst Heads of all Cells & Associations on Friday 24th February, 2017 at the Seva Kendra Hall at 7.30 pm. Kindly make it convenient to attend.

4. Next Sunday i.e 26th February will be celebrated as Bible Sunday in the Archdiocese. In preparation for the same, a small sharing activity based on Scripture will be conducted in the SCC clusters during the week. The Animators are requested to collect the Activity Sheets from their community coordinators. There will also a blessing of bibles at each mass, so parishioners are requested to carry their personal copies of the Bible for the blessing.

5. Faith Celebration Day for Sunday School children of Std's VII & VIII tomorrow / today from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm at St. Michael’s, Mahim. Regular Sunday School for those not attending the Faith Celebration programme.

6. 42 Confirmands from our Parish will be receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation on Saturday, 18th Feb. at the 6.30pm Mass. Kindly keep them in your prayers. 1. Tomorrow / Today Parish Feast of Our Lady of Salvation. Mass in English at 6.30 am, 7.45 am Mass in Konkani & 9.30 am Church Feast Mass

2. There will be no Sunday School tomorrow / today on account of the Parish Feast & Salutsav 2017.

3. 42 Confirmands from our Parish will be receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation on Saturday, 18th Feb. at the 6.30pm Mass. Kindly keep them in your prayers. Also, kindly note that the main body of the church will be reserved for the Confirmands as well as their parents, godparents and family members.

Parish Feast & Salutsav 2017 – - The inauguration of Salutsav 2017 will be held at 8.00pm on Saturday 4th Feb. after the evening Mass. Stage programmes and events will commence at 5.30pm on Sunday 5th Feb. All parishioners are invited to participate in large numbers.

- As mentioned in the sponsorship & advertisement forms, the proceeds from Salutsav 2017 after deducting expenses would go towards helping the Medical Centre & CCO. Those who would still like to give donations towards this worthy cause may kindly contact the parish office regarding the same. Please note that you will be provided a receipt for the donation amount from the parish office.

- Housie with Snow-Ball will be organized in the Seva Kendra Hall at 11.00 am. Kindly note that participation for Housie is restricted only to our parishioners.

- The Parish Liturgy Team requests the PPC Members,  Heads of Cells and Associations and Members of the BOM to  assemble in the sacristy at 9.15 am  on 5th Feb to take part in the solemn entrance procession of the Parish  Feast  Mass.

This protest is being organized by AGNI, Bombay Catholic Sabha and numerous residents Associations of “G’ North Ward. Please attend in large numbers.
